Our Virtual Hope Walks Team Page
Team Ginger Hammer
On Sunday, October 4, we will be participating in the Newton-Wellesley Hospital's Virtual Hope Walks, benefiting the Mass General Cancer Center at Newton-Wellesley. This is deeply personal for us. Some of you may know – and many of you do not – that Kristin was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer right before Thanksgiving last year.
As a 43 year old mother of two young daughters, it was a shocking and terrifying diagnosis, though fortunately one with a good prognosis. We are eternally grateful for the wonderful care and support Kristin has received at the Mass General Cancer Center at Newton-Wellesley. Newton-Wellesley offers a wide range of programs and integrative support services including family counseling, post-op physical therapy, massage and survivorship classes so we can thrive once Kristin completes treatment. There is still a long road ahead, but we have been blessed by our access to the programs, staff, and clinical care at Newton-Wellesley.
Please consider joining us and making a donation to our fundraising page or ask us how to get involved in Virtual Hope Walks. In recognition of your support, and our appreciation for the team at the Mass General Cancer Center at Newton-Wellesley, we will match every dollar contributed by our friends and family.
Thank you for your support!
